M.I.T – S.I.X (Mythicize Inconvenience Truth - Social Instrumental X) 17.05.2007 – 30.06.2007 The film will premier on the 17.07.2007
“Don't be happy Do be worried. 15th anniversary of worrying about global climate change, shifting world views, societal collapse, the cult of bourgeois rectitude, Chiang Mai Social Installation Project and "art is over.”
On 17th May -30th June 2007 there will be a painting and film exhibition held by the M.I.T–S.I.X GROUP collective. M.I.T – S.I.X consists of 144 Thai artists that live and hang around together in Chiagmai creating work under various formats such as VDO ,Film, Performance, Media, Music, Movement, Action, objects,event. This will be M.I.T – S.I.X’s first exhibition named Don’t be happy. Do be worried. held in the capital city.
Don’t be happy. Do be worried. show includes 12 pieces of painting and 72 pieces of films. The film will premier on the 17th May .Films will be separated into six rounds, an hour per round. The first round will be on 6 PM then 7, 8,9,10,11, respectively. The last round will finished at midnight.
